NGO Tamana and FDCI had their annual Fashion Show "Unity In Diversity"

The annual fundraising fashion show organized by NGO Tamana in association with FDCI was a spectacular evening event. The show was co-hosted by Hyatt Regency Delhi on 15thsept, 2018.

Tamana NGO NGO Tamana works for children with special needs and has been providing services to the individuals who have been affected by multiple dysfunctions, impairments and autism. The differently abled children took off the ramp along with the designers. H.E. Mr Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The show kicked off with the live singing performance by Diwakar of Sa re ga ma Little Champs. The ramp was first stormed byMs. Patricia Hiramatsu (wife of H.E. Mr Kenji Hiramatsu), H.E. Ms Harinder Singh Sidhu, High Commissioner of Australia and H.E. Ms Joanna Kempkers, High Commissioner of New Zealand to India along with smart confident kids of Tamana School. Tamana Ngo The children of Tamana were seen quite amazed and happy to walk on the ramp along with designers, models wearing ensembles by 11.11 Cell Design, Alpana Neeraj, Amit Aggarwal, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, Nitin Bal Chauhan, Payal Pratap Singh, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Rimzim Dadu, along with other designers - Asha Gautam by Gautam Gupta and Asha Rani Gupta, Ridhi Arora and Namita Bansal. The highlight of the show was that for the first time the ensembles designed and manufactured by the differently-abled at the sublimation unit at Tamana’s Skill Development Centre debuted on the catwalk. Soundarya sharma Also, Tamana Chona walked in Amit Aggarwal dress and shook a leg with actress Soundarya Sharma (who wore Alpana Neeraj ensemble) and Mr Sunil Sethi on her favourite track “Love you Zindagi” from Dear Zindagi movie. Dr Shayama Chona, Founder and President, Tamana said, “The fascinating fashion show promoting 'We are One' irrespective of intellectual and physical differences are wonderfully put by Tamana, FDCI and Hyatt. According to me, these kids are born with a mission to remind us that we may have everything, but they are much greater in their purity of heart.” Entitled as the Crusader of Inclusion by Tamana, Sunil Sethi, President FDCI said, “I am delighted to be a part of an event that celebrates inclusion in the most graceful manner, driving home the point that all humans are equal. Dr.Shayama Chona has done wonders with Tamana, an organisation that works selflessly for the specially-abled.”
