Female and male model auditions in the capital became a treasure hunt for the right mix of personality and effective communication.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) recently conducted Modelling Auditions in the capital. This model hunt at the FDCI office saw an overwhelming record-breaking response with over 600 contenders and a melange of myriad faces emerged to find a spot under the arch lights.

The jury panel for female auditions comprised designers Suneet Varma, Rahul Khanna and choreographers Asha Kochhar and Aparna Bahl. The male auditions had designers Rohit Bal,Manoviraj Khosla, Nikhil Mehra, Pawan Sachdeva, Dhruv Vaish, Rohit Kamra,Vikram Bajaj and choreographer Vidyun Singh. The 50 shortlisted models will get an opportunity to walk for the Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week in association with EbixCash Autumn-Winter 2020 from March 11-15, in the capital.
“Delhi, a vivacious city brings to the fore intrepid faces that are drenched in personality and break the stereotype of perfection. This year too we have looked for unconventional looks shattering the narrow definitions of beauty that have been a template of the style world,” said Sunil Sethi, Chairman FDCI.
