Choose The Perfect Lehenga For Yourself This Wedding Season

- Mera Lal Sharara Sharara!
We have seen a lot of actresses like Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone in movies rocking this type of Lehenga. A sharara is a loose pleated trouser with heavy embroidery work, done on it. Red is the auspicious colour and you can go any shade of it like maroon. However, bottle green would look absolutely stunning too.

- Is it a Saree or a Lehenga? The Lehenga is a mixture of saree and skirt. There are pleats in the Lehenga like a saree and the pallu goes over one shoulder. The petticoat has a flare to it which gives the attire a lehenga like look. Be Man Kind’s Angel in white donning this style.
- Don The Long Jacket
They seem like a one piece but really are a three-piece set. The beautiful long jackets with slit, net or silk material look absolutely elegant. A subtle pink or blue would do the wonders.

- Peplum Lehenga
The Lehenga with an A-line or Straight cut out skirt and a peplum (attached or unattached) Choli are something new this season. For more peplum styled lehengas check out Sabyasachi’s 2016 bridal collection. Why not go peach or gold?

- Mermaid Electric Blue The Fish cut Lehenga is just like a mermaid’s tail. It accentuates the curves and looks the best with a sweet heart neck choli. An electric blue on the wedding day is an unusual choice but it would definitely make heads turn.
- Mughal Elegance
The choice of ivory, white, cream, beige and off-white colours from the family of similar shades give a Mughal era grace to the lehenga. the palla that goes over head with a jhumar adds panache to the long embroidered choli.

- Mid-Night Beauty In One Piece Black is considered ominous. It’s a bold choice for wedding. Making your way through the rituals, be a modern woman and don the centre slit, full length lehenga. It’s a one piece affair with a contrasting pajami or skirt worn for the bottoms.
